    Discovery Metals (ASX:DML) has been granted a trading halt by the Australian Stock Exchange, with its shares placed in pre-open.

    DML requested the halt pending a potential transaction involving the company’s Boseto Copper Operation in Botswana, Southern Africa.

    The company has prospecting licences covering over 26,000 square kilometres in Botswana.

    The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Monday 9th February 2015, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
