Downer EDI Limited (ASX:DOW) has been awarded a $70 million mining services contract at the Cosmo Gold Mine in the Northern Territory.
The two-year deal will begin in March.
The scope of work includes development, mining and other services to maintain the required supply of mill feed ore at the mine’s underground operations.
Crocodile Gold is a Canadian company with three operating mines in Australia.
Downer EDI delivered a net profit of $99.1 million in the first half of fiscal 2014.
