Downer EDI Limited (ASX:DOW) has been awarded a $70 million contract at the TAN Burrup project near Karratha in Western Australia.
The engineering and infrastructure management company was awarded the contract by Tecnicas Reunidas S.A., a Spanish-based international contractor.
The deal involves structural, mechanical, piping and electrical and instrumentation installation.
Downer EDI is maintaining its positive full year outlook on improved production and cost cutting within its divisions.
The company produced a December half net profit of $99 million, slightly ahead of market expectations.
