The road to a $billion valuation
Taking some rough numbers to see what it would take for DTS to reach the magical $1 billion MC
Assumptions (intentionally very conservative):
- monthly store revenue of $200 = $2,400 per year
- a successful growth business can achieve a x10 multiple
- therefore to get to $1 billion valuation requires $100 mill revenue per annum
Therefore DTS need about 42,000 stores to get to $1 billion
Currently on schedule for 5,000 stores by end of 2020
They have so many ways to get to this number:
• via the huge number of small chains around the world - using aggregators like Door Dash
• via the vast big global chains like Dominos and Pizza Hut
• via hotel groups, military, multiple industries beyond food...
Remember $2,400 per store per annum wouldn't pay for a tiny fraction of 1 not very well paid person!!!!!
