Australia's DUET Group (DUE) will on Monday recommend a takeover offer from Hong Kong's Cheung Kong Infrastructure Holdings 1038.HK (CKI) after the price was increased slightly to value the company at A$7.37 billion ($5.51 billion), according to a source familiar with the situation.
CKI will now pay A$3.03 a share, up A$0.03 from the offer it made in December, said the source, who was not authorised to speak publicly about the matter. ($1 = 1.3382 Australian dollars)
