News: DVN Devine updates on CIMIC's offer, page-2

I would like to encourage shareholders not to accept. I certainly will not be accepting and I am a top 20 shareholder. There are only two independent directors in Devine and the other three are nominated by Cimic. Do you think these independent directors would still be on the Board if they had acted against Cimic.

The net tangible asset backing of this company is $1.55 as at June 30 2015 and we are being offered 75c. In my view that is shocking and I just hope that shareholders will join me and Lyn Brazil in ignoring the offer.

I am surprised that Hot Copper has put in this statement encouraging shareholders to accept so that is the reason for my response.
