Aug 18 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1330 GMT on Friday:
** U.S. chipmaker Qualcomm QCOM.O will have to seek EU antitrust approval for its planned takeover of Israeli auto-chipmaker Autotalks even though the deal is below the European Union's turnover threshold, EU regulators said.
** The California attorney general's office is probing whether Kroger's KR.N $24.6 billion plan to buy rival grocerAlbertsons ACI.N will make it harder for people in poorer parts of cities or rural areas to buy medicines, according to two people familiar with the review.
** French car parts company Valeo VLOF.PA announced an agreement to sell its propulsion systems business in Russia to Russian company NPK Avtopribor.
** Australia's Dexus (DXS) said it would sell an office building located in the western corridor of the Sydney central business district for A$293.1 million ($187.73 million).
** Lavoie, the electric scooter unit of Formula One engineering and technology firm McLaren Applied, is in advanced talks to buy bankrupt Dutch e-bike maker VanMoof, according to a source familiar with the negotiations.
