I agree Hammer a trading update was given not that long ago how much can change in 6 weeks and MMS surely have access to ECX trading activity as part of due diligence.
I think the trading update is only the second part of the announcement with the main purpose involving corporate activity, maybe offloading some of the underperforming business which will then require MMS to recalc the offer.
