I agree, I don't think it's another takeover offer, but really interesting to see what changed in 6 weeks that they couldn't announce with the HY report. MMS's response was quite quick, but it confirms the negotiations on the background are still (until now at least) going on.
Likely there will be some serious SP pressure if an impairment or other negative news are announced, so maybe MMS will get a bargain after all if they decide to take over.
