June 7 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on Wednesday:

** Vodafone VOD.L and CK Hutchison 0001.HK are in the final stages of agreeing to merge their British operations, with a long-awaited announcement expected as soon as Friday or early next week, three sources have told Reuters.

** Private equity firm Hillhouse Capital Group has offered to make concessions in its purchase of Australian medical researcher George Clinical to gain regulatory approval after an unusually long review, said two people with knowledge of the matter.

** Australia's Estia Health (EHE) said it intended to back Bain Capital's sweetened takeover offer that valued the aged-care provider at A$826.8 million ($552.05 million), sending its shares about 19% higher to a near five-year peak.

** New Zealand's infrastructure investor Infratil (IFT) said it will acquire Canada's Brookfield Asset Management's BAM.TO stake in One New Zealand for NZ$1.8 billion ($1.1 billion) to strengthen its digital and renewable portfolio.

** Teck Resources TECKb.TO said on Tuesday it has received several proposals for its steelmaking coal business, without revealing if one included a revised offer from Swiss trading and mining firm Glencore GLEN.L which launched its takeover bid for the Canadian miner over two months ago.
