News: Elemental Minerals starts drilling at Dougo

Elemental Minerals Limited (ASX:ELM) has started drilling its first exploration hole in the Dougou area in the Republic of Congo.



The African focused potash explorer says an extensive target was identified following historic drilling and seismic data.



Elemental’s CEO, Iain Macpherson says the commencement of drilling is an exciting next step for the project and has the potential to significantly increase the scale of the project.



In the six months ended on December 31, 2011 Elemental Minerals reported a net loss of $6.8 million.
