Empire Resources (ASX:ERL) has some potentially very interesting news on the horizon including a corporate transaction involving a new project and a capital raising.
The ASX has granted the company a trading halt, with ERL's shares placed in pre-open.
In the June quarterly 2014 the company said that it had been active in reviewing various mineral projects situated both in Australia and overseas.
ERL also stated that a number of these projects offer attractive business opportunities and the company is investigating these further.
The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Wednesday 22nd October 2014, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
