Encounter Resources (ASX:ENR) has intersected zinc sulphide mineralisation in all four diamond drill holes completed at the Millennium prospect of its Yeneena project in Western Australia.

This includes high grade mineralisation that was intersected adjacent to the shale/carbonate contact in the final drill hole of the 2014 season.

Drilling was co-funded by the Western Australia state government under the Exploration Incentive Scheme.

This has identified two distinct styles of zinc sulphide mineralisation and allowed the company to define follow up drill targets.

Results were:

- 7 metres at 4.76% zinc from 233 metres including 1.4 metres at 10% zinc from 234.55 metre and  1.7 metres at 2.45% zinc from 294.5 metres in EPT2198; and
- 27.8 metres at 0.53% zinc from 155.2 metres in EPT2196.

A reverse circulation drilling program is scheduled to commence in April 2015 following completion of the summer cyclone season.

This program will test for additional high grade zinc mineralisation down dip and along strike of EPT2198 (Target 1) and will test the large modelled gravity anomaly to the south of the Millennium diamond drilling for accumulations of higher grade shale hosted mineralisation (Target 2).
