Encounter Resources (ASX:ENR) has been granted an ASX trading halt regarding a proposed capital raising transaction that is material to the company.
The halt will last until the earlier of the announcement being made or the start of trade on Tuesday, 22nd September 2015.
Earlier this month, drilling identified a near surface IOCG target within the Lookout Rocks copper project in Western Australia.
This is being carried out as part of the new US$6 million earn-in agreement with Chilean copper major Antofagasta plc (LON:ANTO).
Encounter had $1.4 million in cash and $1.6 million in investments as at 30th June 2015.
