as usual i continue to follow the confusing eos announcements.
not to be disappointed i'm again confused.
eos says satellites ready for production phase.? um do the have a producer.?
eos says they will lauch first 4 satellites by the end of 2024.? FCC meo spectrum expiry date is june 2024.or is eos referring to financial year june 2024.
Lockheed martin and airbus are very active in Australia regarding space developments.Both r very active regarding the leo and geo sectors.They both have billions ready to deploy.
But i have not read any developments for either or any other prime in the meo sector.?
The primes spend billions on the space sector,airbus has specifically mentioned it wants greater access to the meo sector.
Of course the US Army etc will talk to eos regarding the meo sector,eos holds all the spectrum.But june 24 they either use it or lose it especially with above primes ready to invest billions in the meo sector.
Imo it doesn't make sense ,especially eos to date has not even named a satellite builder/partner/producewr for its 'ready for production phase'. satellites.
ps and optic connectivity is old news.doesnt matter whether its connectivity in the leo,meo or geo sectors its all optic/laser.And above primes will build ground infrastructure for space/ground connectivity so optics is no longer an advanatage for eos
