LONDON, March 15 (Reuters) - Northwest European diesel barge cracks rose by about 60 cents to just above $28 a barrel on Friday after Ukraine launched a new attack on a Russian refinery, a move that could tighten global supplies of the fuel.

• Around 15,000 metric tons of diesel barges traded in the Platts window, down from 22,000 tons in the previous session.
• Ukraine attacked a small oil refinery in Russia's Kaluga region with drones early on Friday, a Ukrainian intelligence source told Reuters.
• Kyiv has conducted a string of drone attacks on major Russian oil facilities in the last week, trying to target the lifeblood of the Russian economy more than two years after Moscow launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
• Meanwhile, diesel imports into Europe are set to reach around 760,000 barrels per day (bpd) so far this month, Kpler data shows, down from 991,000 bpd in February.
• Gasoil stocks held in independent storage in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) refining and storage hub rose by 3.6% in the week to March 14, according to data from Dutch consultancy Insights Global.
• Gasoil stocks rose to 2.11 million metric tons, their highest since August 2023, amid weak demand, Insights Global's Lars van Wageningen said.
