News: Europe Distillates-Diesel margins hold above $20

LONDON, June 17 (Reuters) - Northwest European diesel barge refining margins declined by 46 cents to hold just above the $20 a barrel threshold on Monday, as liquidity in the afternoon window remained low.

• No diesel barges traded in the afternoon window for a third session in a row.
• Diesel and gasoil arrivals into North West Europe and the Mediterranean are set to drop on the month in June, according to LSEG data.
• Arrivals are projected to reach 8.46 million metric tons in June, down from 10.3 million tons in May.
• Russia's primary offline oil refining capacity has been raised by 114% from the previous plan to 4.1 million metric tons for June mainly to due to last-month stoppages at the Tuapse and Komsomoslk plants, Reuters calculations show.
• Gasoil stocks held in independent storage in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) refining and storage hub fell by 2.3% to 2.21 million tons in the week to Thursday, data from Dutch consultancy Insights Global showed.
• Demand up the Rhine river increased as buyers sought to replenish stocks after high water levels had hampered navigation during the previous week, according to Insights Global's Lars van Wageningen.
• Gasoil imports remained strong but were offset by exports to Argentina and Northwest European countries, van Wageningen said.
