LONDON, April 15 (Reuters) - Northwest European diesel barge margins declined by about $1.30 a barrel to $19.82 amid sluggish demand and rising heavy imports.
No barges traded in the Platts afternoon window for a second consecutive session, despite a flurry of bid and offer activity.
ARA gasoil stocks rose by 1.5% to 2.15 million metric tons in the week to April 11 as imports into the region from Asia rose while inland demand was limited, Dutch consultancy Insights Global said.
European diesel and gasoil imports in April are on track to reach about 880,000 barrels per day, just under the 920,000 bpd delivered in March, Kpler data showed.
Russia has been able to swiftly repair some of the key oil refineries hit by Ukrainian drones, reducing capacity idled by the attacks to about 10% from almost 14% at the end of March, Reuters calculations showed.
