LONDON, July 24 (Reuters) - Northwest European gasoline refining margins rose slightly on Wednesday to about $14.30 a barrel as U.S. gasoline inventories fell.
- No Eurobob E10 gasoline barges traded on Wednesday.
- About 4,000 metric tons of E5 barges traded as Mabanaft bought from Petroineos.
- U.S. gasoline stocks USOILG=ECI fell by 5.6 million barrels last week to 227.4 million barrels, the Energy Information Administration said, far exceeding expectations in Reuters poll for a 400,000-barrel draw.
- Product supplied of gasoline, EIA's measure of demand, rose by 673,000 bpd, the biggest weekly increase since November 2023, to 9.46 million bpd, the most for this time of year since 2021's record high of over 10 million bpd, the data showed.
- Crack spreads rose in Northwest Europe despite poor arbitrage economics for exports to the U.S.
- "The RBOB arbitrage from Europe has remained closed since the beginning of July, and currently, the margin is negative for both blenders and refiners in Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp and Northwest Europe," Sparta Commodities' Jorge Molinero said in an online note.
- EU and UK gasoline and gasoline component exports have reached about 1.2 million barrels per day so far this month, up from 1.13 million bpd in June, according to Kpler data.
- The 124,000 bpd ISAB refinery in Sicily, Italy, has completed plant-wide maintenance works which began in late-April, according to IIR Energy.
