LONDON, Aug 13 (Reuters) - Northwest European gasoline refining margins rose by about 50 cents to $13.28 a barrel on Tuesday, though buying activity was limited.
No Eurobob E10 barges traded in the Argus window on Tuesday.
Around 4,000 tons of Eurobob E5 barges traded with Trafigura selling to Varo.
EU and UK gasoline exports have reached 714,000 barrels per day so far this month, down from 1.23 million bpd in July.
- The International Energy Agency (IEA) kept its 2024 global oil demand growth forecast unchanged on Tuesday but trimmed its 2025 estimate, citing the impact of a weakened Chinese economy on consumption.
- Motiva Enterprises restarted the gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracker (FCC) at its 626,000 bpd Port Arthur, Texas, refinery on Tuesday, said people familiar with plant operations.
- The 81,000-bpd FCC was shut on July 24 for repair of a leak, the sources said. Further leaks were discovered after the initial leak, extending the time the unit was shut to two weeks.
