LONDON, July 22 (Reuters) - Northwest European gasoline refining margins slipped by about $1.50 on Monday to $13.30 a barrel as weak arbitrage economics weighed.
- About 5,000 metric tons of Eurobob E5 gasoline traded on barges as Gunvor and Petroineos sold to Shell and Mabanaft.
- Another 5,000 tons of E10 barges traded as BP bought from Varo and Gunvor.
- The Rotterdam-New York Harbour arbitrage route has shut and "will likely remain so as PADD 1 gasoline stocks continue to rise and US gasoline demand sputters," Sparta Commodities analyst Jorge Molinero said.
- The wholesale price of Russian high-octane Ai-95 gasoline jumped by around 44% over the last month and a half, close to an all-time peak, after shortages of the grade due to refinery maintenance and high demand, market players said.
- Russia's Tuapse oil refinery, its biggest on the Black Sea, was damaged in a major Ukrainian drone attack overnight which sparked a fire, Russian officials said on Monday. The extent of the damage was not immediately clear.
- EU and UK gasoline and blending component exports have reached 1.06 million barrels per day (bpd) so far this month, compared with 1.11 million bpd in June.
