I have been following this from a distance. Cash burn/balance is terminally unwell and will require a reduction in burn, or an increase in balance. A highly dilutive capital raise is likely, however it is unusual for the BOD to announce this halt. I do wonder if ID is getting pushed aside by the BOD as the buck stops at the MD. Managed to leap from an almost $100m MC to $10m by pivoting to EEVs without a big pharma partnership.
I highly doubt a "deal" for their tech, small chance of a takeover. Higher chance of another downsizing, e.g. downgrade location size to a quarter of current capacity (makes sense after firing half of the staff).
