Hi Zacma, unfortunately we have no known history to draw upon for current circumstances so a lot of articles are guessing how things will play out.
So what has changed to cause the POO to go up? We still have storage shortages. That hasn't changed. We still have demand destruction and too much supply.
AUSTRALIA is doing ok compared to most of the world. Some restrictions in some states are being lifted so use will go up here. Use in China is starting to recover. Europe and USA seem to be easing restrictions a bit early (will be surprised if there isn't a second wave there worse than the first). So we're starting to see a slight recovery that is wobbling a bit and sentiment (which seems to sway POO) is starting to improve.
We might see financial markets start to improve a little here on sentiment but I'm keeping my eyes on the fundamentals as sentiment only creates temporary trading opportunity unless fundamentals improve also. Jimho
People are starting to look towards that light at the end of the tunnel. It's coming
IF you're unemployed then things are still bleak. Got a job and still getting wages - not too bad. If you have cash - good luck - you can make money in times like these.
Hopefully we can wobble upwards. We just need to survive just like many other companies.
