Hello Sypaladin, AFP and Indonesia Police locate a boat targeted by smugglers they could buy it under them.
Sounds like a new growth industry for Indo. If the AFP or Indo police don't locate a departing boat then the owners would have to notify them so they can sell their boat. Its a similar to the boats leaving Indo. They are not trying to sneak onto the Australian mainland and disappear. The idea is to get into International waters and then radio Australian authorities to pick them up and put them up. My last dregs of respect for Rudd were shattered when as the recycled P.M. he threw out all his principles in an attempt to win Government by sending the boat people to New Guinea with no reprieve. This would have been unthinkable to Labor if not for a win at ANY COST attitude.If the Liberals had tried this one Rudd would have crucified them. RAB
