You just have to read many of the posts here and the level of vitriol from the rusted-ons is off the chart. They just can't accept that Labor have been taken to with a baseball bat.

The kind of denialism being engaged in by everyone from Shorten, Albo to Rudd and Gillard means they cannot properly analyse why they lost, and lost badly. They're still talking about disunity being the problem - no mention at all of breaching trust, lying to the people, the monumental waste, the overall incompetence.

The fact is that only one Party has a mandate after an election - that is the Party the people entrust to govern them and implement their policies. Labor should just get out of the way and focus on salvaging their own wreckage.
