I guess ultimately as investors in microcaps/small caps we do not have the benefit of large institutional shareholders on the register keeping management honest....which adds to our risk.

The flip side of that extra added risk is for the very few microcaps that make it to the midcap and even large cap universe, there are life changing super profits to be made for those investors who got in early, and stayed the distance.

My personal strategy is to take large positions (for me) in companies where I can have clear and frequent communication with their management team, and get to know the business and management as well as I can.

As my knowledge and understanding of the business grows, I continue to add to my position. If at any time I discover that management has lied to me, I exit. Irrespective of the loss size.

Looking at your reply, I understand you are doubtful of management's claim, which you are free to believe and express. However as the entire board of directors have directors duties which carry Director Liabilities, which extend to them personally, I think making certain claims that could not be backed up with factual data/information in the event of the business failing could have dire consequences for them.

For the time being, I continue to hold, I continue to add regularly and I continue to have faith that DC and his BOD will deliver on their objectives.
Having attended the Benchmark Minerals Road Show this week I am still very excited about the future of EV's and even more so the opportunity in Energy Storage Systems.
