Your gob-smacking revelation that Fortescue's DV is high because of the SP decline is such a monumental insight, madam. Despite my 20 years of living very comfortably from my investing, I would have never have guessed there is an inverse correlation between SPs and dividend yields....Please my forgive my sarcasm, madam , but it's challenging not to be when you bombard us with your kindergarten level analysis.

As for your concern re the capital value , I couldn't give a s#@t whether my holdings are valued ar $2 million or $4 million. That's not my motivation for investing in Fortescue.

As for our dividends being reduced to finance capital expenditure to decarbonise our IO production, I welcome it. In the long run that will massively reduce an already efficiently run, low cost company's costs, to the sweet, sweet tune of 700 million bucks per annum.

Our investment strategies are so divergent ,madam, that I suspect any attempts to understand each other are doomed to fail, therefore, I can only conclude we are wasting each other's time.
