Footnote: I am supportive of all the PLANNED cost cuts as it suits the current situation. As a dynamic business having to progress it's diversification plans, there will be more hiring (to fill the positions that are opening up) and 'planned' firing (when a certain tasks have been fulfilled and peaked) and that's the sign of EXCELLENT management IMHO !!
