How is it that a miner can protect his cattle country from other miners but those with an altogether different cultural interest can't protect theirs? Is it a question of being fair and who is fair.
In the American wild west, conflict of interest counted for nothing in the clash of civilizations and the ascendancy of the dollar. What about Australia fair?
Maybe these conflicts should be sorted out by a foreign umpire as in cricket, a game where players can't be relied upon to play fair and the gentlemen no longer walk.
