Countries with nuclear subs need at least one nuclear reactor and Aust as we move to nuclear subs will need one here too.
Should have one for nuclear medicine alone.

For power though solar is the way to go. If every house had solar their power bills would just about be zero
and no need for batteries either.

Still need gas though going forward.

Nuclear fusion may well be the future for larger countries. Some are trying to make it work and maybe with added AI they'll get their far faster.
Fusion will be great for countries with large populations. They not cheap at $35b to $50b US each. Cheaper to give everyone free solar panels.
