Obviously I beg to differ, respectfully, with my learned friend on the issue of government handouts. For me, when assessing the viability of projects, government handouts should not even be a parameter included in the decision making process.
Fortescue has always excelled in its lowest cost in category status by ingenuity. With the same ingenuity, I am confident we can similarly excel, and come out with vastly more efficient, competitive renewable energy businesses compared with welfare dependent competitors. I want tough!
