Both plaints were lodged by Chad Everett and Allan Brosnan (recorded on the DMP mineral titles database). There wasa Warden's Court hearing listed in July but no mention of any findings subsequent to that. It must still be in progress. FML had an exemption from expenditure on one of the ML's last year but the other one appears to be in good standing, so I expect the plaints will be dismissed. Any company with a solid expenditure history can usually get one or more expenditure exemptions, and plaints are often lodged more for extortion purposes than any realistic expectation of success. It's cheaper to pay the plainters to go away than to pay lawyers to fight the case.
One caveat: the pay-off approach is usually the sensible option, but being Chinese FML won't back down in a hurry so they'll probably take the lawyer approach as far as is required to get a result - even if it costs them 10 times as much.
