re: News: Focus Minerals Corporate Profile Vi... morning hi chicken,
they don't necessarily mean the same thing every time.
as to investment decisions - if per chance you were investigating taking a position in eg telstra and you saw the ceo being asked if they could maintain their dividend at what it is or better and he clearly lied -- might that affect your investment decision? It certainly should do.
ditto - I asked Don Taig if he wanted fml to be dividend paying in the future ---------- Don's answer was a clear yes - and a truthful one I am sure.
Now it may or it may not happen - but the man was telling me the truth at the time - and that helps set my strategy for my fml position for future planning (within a flexible plan).
If he had said no - and that was truthful - I would have a different strategy - but still ok.
If he had lied - either way -------- I wouldn't even be here.
fml will make some good decisions and some bad decisions as do all companies - but what all this investment stuff comes down to is trust - trust and honesty - without either of those you are buggered.
That is one of the interesting things about this wait for ti - it is very unusual for this company to be out timewise on what it says it will do -- I think there is a good reason for this miscalculation on the timetable for drill info. - and I am betting that they will let us know something in the next few days - not necessarily an ann. but some sort of reasoning why there is a delay.
Also, my gut tells me this delay - or at least this slow progress (what appears slow anyway) is more than likely good news, not bad.
cb's little blip at 2.17 gives me that impression - but I am not certain of why --- personally I think he may be thinking "oh, my god is there a lot of work to do there" ------
but I don't know why he is thinking that - is it possible because we have hooked onto something massive? or is it possible that it is far more complicated than we thought?
One thing I do think - is that all of this indicates we have mineralization - because if we had dud holes - they would have probably quickly moved onto the next target and we would be all wailing by now and Dean would be looking for another job.
From what I hear that is very much not the case.
have a great day
