AWE have commenced coring activities at Woodada Deep in Tenement L4 adjacent to NWE/AWEs EP413.
AWEs acreage contains three shale plays: Kockatea, Carynginia and Irwin River Coal Measures with a gross shale thickness in excess of 1000m - sound familiar?
Coring is underway at Woodada Deep. The first core is releasing gas. Drilling is still underway. Detailed core analysis is scheduled for May/June.
This could be very significant for NWE shareholders. Expect a few announcements by AWE and NWE in the near future.
