So FYI have not even managed a clean break from Alcoa, the IP becomes joint access and FYI are left handcuffed to Alcoa. They are in a worse position than when Alcoa came onto the scene. FYI now won't own any IP outright going forward, so little to bargain with if they were to find another development partner. If by some miracle FYI could develop the project, they would undoubtedly have to end up paying something to Alcoa by way of a royalty for using this "joint" IP. They might as well just sell the company to the highest bidder right now.
