Here is an explanation from ee regarding the PCL halt
Halts can be no longer than two trading sessions. I believe they are covering the scenario where TLW TDs on Saturday or Sunday and then issues an RNS on Monday. If they weren't halted, Pan would be obliged to make an ASX announcement on Sunday night UK time, thus front-running the operator. That would not be allowed under the agreement with TLW.
I think this is probably purely precautionary -and doesn't necessarily indicate an announcement is imminent just yet. Indeed it is quite possible they call another halt next Friday
Many on the LSE thought the rise in GBP today on both listings was related to a possible discovery however it seems not as none of the other Namibian players had the same effect.I put it down to the new block and news of a deal
Should be interesting next week
