You never know what type of outcome you'll get by this type of campaign. Contrary to your suggestion the campaign may have attracted a much larger fish that wanted a larger slice of action.
The IP associated with the new company is the game changer and will set a new standard.
I've found some VR companies and all we need is a leading name for GCN to get noticed.
