Genesis Minerals (ASX:GMD) is preparing to reveal details of an acquisition.
Recently the company said that it was continuing to review both advanced and early stage gold and copper projects in both South America and Australia.
The ASX has granted the company a trading halt, with its shares placed in pre-open.
The halt will last until the opening of trade on Tuesday 9th June 2015, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
