It would be helpful if you could refer us to those actual quantities on the website.

I realise that GGG has a problem with uranium because in the lujavrite it intends to mine, uranium is mixed in with the rare earths.

Circumstances are obviously different at your site

“Unlike other rare earth mines, Tanbreez does not contain the radioactive elements – thorium, uranium, radon, actinium and the like, which present an enormous local hurdles.”

This zero report is qualified elsewhere:

“There are only background values of thorium and uranium in the eudialyte (similar to back ground values in ordinary country rock), meaning the final REE contains no radioactive elements.”

I notice in a geological report that Tanbreez also contains lujavrite in its geological sequence.

    http://tanbreez.com/media/10968-Alkaline_Conference_-_Apatity_Russia_-_August_2015.pdf

I presume that the lujavrite does not contain more than 100ppm of uranium, or that Tanbreez can access its rare earths without disturbing the lujavrite.

So it appears poor old GGG can't circumvent the proposed (but not yet enacted) 100ppm, but Tanbreez can.
