Gloucester Coal Limited (ASX:GCL) says its JORC coal resource for the Wenham Cox Road area is 37 million tonnes.



That includes measured resources of four million tonnes; indicated resources of 20.1 million tonnes, and inferred resources of 13 million tonnes.

JORC coal reserves total 12.2 million tonnes.



Chief executive Brendan McPherson says the outcome enhances Gloucester’s growth potential and long term value.



Gloucester Coal reported a net profit of $54.5 million for the 2011 financial year.
