The “GMV business model” seems to be given way too much mystical and innovative aura.
Sales: Buy a product and sell it for more than you bought it for. If you can manufacture it even better. If you can manufacture it off shore in a country with cheaper input cost even better. If you can develop markets in other countries even better. Developing the products with generational upgrades, to maintain market position.
Recurring income. Usually spoken about in reverent tones and it’s best left to egg heads as it’s a bit difficult to understand. Lol.
I get a bill from Telstra every month. I pay them every month. Telstra gets recurring income from me. Medical data capturing services in this case.
Company reputation is the most important asset here. If the market think you are tricky.....sales and recurring income are just wishful.
The company needs to address their reputation
damage.
