Most interesting info that's a contrast to some other stock threads on 'Hot Copper' where there's a lot of opinion (and some silly asides) but not much in the way of hard facts.
As one who's a city boy but who's travelled frequently to rural Australia (plus overseas of course), I'd be the first to acknowledge that growing wheat/canola/barley is risky, especially in areas like the Mallee in Victoria and perhaps around Hillston in NSW.
