Goldminex Resources (ASX:GMX) is raising $200,000 through a placement of 10 million shares priced at $0.02 each to a sophisticated private investor.
Proceeds will be used to fund transaction costs associated with the acquisition of Australian-based software systems integrator and developer Enzumo Group.
The transaction includes the issue of one free attaching option exercisable at $0.03 within three years from the date of issue for every five shares.
Goldminex is also expected to carry out a rights issue to fund the Enzumo acquisition.
The acquisition represents a change in the company’s strategic direction and a first step in the development of a Australian financial services technology and e-learning business.
