    Goldminex Resources (ASX:GMX) has some interesting news pending, with the ASX granted the company a trading halt to prepare.

    GMX has a material business acquisition to announce.

    To date the company has been focused on the exploration for significant gold or gold equivalent (nickel and copper) deposits in Papua New Guinea.

    The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Wednesday 12th November 2014, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
