Goldphyre Resources (ASX:GPH) has acquired a nickel copper ground holding in the Albany Fraser Range Orogen of Western Australia.
The Beretta Project consists of one 350 square kilometre exploration license application and lies 80 kilometres from the Nova-Bollinger nickel-copper resource of Sirius Resources (ASX:SIR).
Goldphyre is now collating as much data as is available in preparation for field-work to commence when the tenement is granted.

Elevated nickel, copper and zinc values were recorded, and regional magnetic images indicate a circular magnetic high feature, referred to as MI6.

This included 49 metres at 0.22% nickel from 10 metres. Recent drilling also confirmed an ultramafic sequence with nickel sulphide potential.
Goldphyre plans to undertake further geophysical and petrological studies here to assess the potential of the elevated base metal results before determining the forward work program.
The company is lightly valued at just $1 million.
