Goodman Fielder Ltd's (ASX:GFF) chief executive Peter Margin has announced that he will leave the company at the end of April in order to pursue the next stage of his career.
In a statement, the breads and spreads producer says Mr Margin will leave on April 30, after being at the helm of the company for over five years.
The company praised Mr Margin for an outstanding job of leading the company through its float in late 2005.
The firm will undertake an internal and external CEO search, with an appointment expected to be made before Mr Margin's departure.
Goodman Fielder generated a net profit $165.8 million in the year to 30 June 2010.
