June 21 (Reuters) - APA Group (APA)
- Will construct a new gas transmission pipeline and a gas-fired power station to supply power to Gruyere gold project in Western Australia
- Project for a total cost of construction of around $180 million.
- Gruyere project is a 50:50 joint venture between ASX listed Gold Road Resources Ltd and Miner Gold Fields Limited
- Commissioning of both pipeline and power station expected to be late 2018, to align with Gruyere JV's expectation of first gold scheduled for early 2019
