This is clearly good news for GPR shareholders. Finally!

Lingbao Gold (HK:3330) is a vertically integtrated Chinese producer with an A$800M market capitalisation via a HK listing. It clearly has the knowledge and expertise to take gold exploration through to production. Existing annual production is circa 700k Au oz or circa A$2B+ revenue. One would also suspect it has the project funding capacity to realise its investment objectives. Further, the Chinese have little concerns about sovereign risk as their power and influence in the Pacific region is unmatched. With an estimated NPV in the vicinity of A$1B it is surprising that GPR is trading at such a discount. It's early days, but a significant share price re-rating would seem inevitable.
