    Greencross Limited (ASX:GXL) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX, with its shares placed in pre-open.

    Greencross requested the halt pending details of an acquisition and an associated accelerated non-renounceable entitlement offer and placement.

    The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Wednesday 18th June 2014, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
