    Gunson Resources (ASX:GUN) director Garret Dixon has acquired 1,723,853 shares in the company in an on market purchase.

    Dixon paid a total of $22,570.33, or about $0.013 per share, including brokerage.

    Gunson had in July noticed a pick-up in the level of interest in mineral sands as it continues discussions with parties for a stake in its Coburn Mineral Sands Project in Western Australia.

    Permitting of the project is also progressing with the Department of Mines and Petroleum requesting further operational details for the Radiation Management Plan.
